Incarnation Family Announcements Week of November 19, 2017
Offering Sunday: This past Sunday the majority of our church family brought forward their offerings of commitments of time, talent, and finances for the Lord’s work. We thank Him for generous hearts. If anyone was unable to bring forth their Estimate of Giving card and Ministry Commitment form, and intends to make a pledge toward the finances and service in ministries in our church, please email Maria as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Angel Tree Prison Fellowship Ministry: We signed up to serve 6 families, for a total of 17 children, and not one Angel remained unclaimed on our tree at the end of service yesterday morning. Our hearts are bursting with gratitude and joy for a church family that is visibly available to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you are one of our Angel Tree Volunteers, you will receive an email from Maria in the next few days providing additional information on family “Teams” and coordinating the caregiver contact and delivery of gifts.
Morning Eucharist and Evening Prayer during Advent season: As a church, each Advent season we take seriously the expectant and contemplative preparation for the birth of our Savior. As part of this, we will gather together for 30 minutes on the Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings of Advent to read scripture and pray together. During the morning gatherings we will also share in the Lord’s Supper. Children are very welcome! Tuesdays, Dec 5, 12, 19 at 8am, and Thursdays, Dec 7, 14, 21 at 5:30pm. Location: Incarnation Ministry Center, 224 Monticello Ave.
Incarnation Christmas party! James and Anna, once again, want to continue the tradition of hosting our church Christmas Party at their home in anticipation of Christ’s birth. Mark your calendars for Friday, Dec 15, 6pm. Electronic invitation and details on what you can contribute coming soon.
